Established in 2009, Merlai Trading (Pty) Ltd is a Cape Town based, privately owned, family managed company involved in the import and distribution of a wide range of products throughout southern Africa.

The product range includes:

• specialised PVC coated fabrics

• unsupported PVC sheeting

• extruded films for the agricultural industry

In addition, Merlai Trading stocks and distributes a range of accessory products for the PVC conversion industry:

• weldable hook and loop

• weld on webbing

• anti vandalism tape for truck side curtains and other applications

• complete anti vandalism mesh for truck side curtains

• specialised tape for the repair of PVC

With over 50 years combined experience in the industry, the management team of Merlai Trading prides itself in being able to offer the best service possible to our clients.

In 2015 Merlai Trading invested in a dedicated warehouse facility in Cape Town, where strategic products are stocked. With a 48 hour delivery to most areas within South Africa, Merlai Trading is well positioned to deal with short lead time requirements.
